"Lucky No. 7"

Jen and Dana jump into Chapters 1-6 of Jackie Collins' Lucky, the second book of the Lucky Santangelo Series (sequel to Chances from Scandalous Diamonds Season 5!). Called the "James Bond for women," Lucky Santangelo is back, baby!

In this season premier, the girls decide that the 1600's were a terrible time to be alive, especially for women who had opinions. Jen uses the internet to pronounce names for herwhen there are too many vowels together in one place and Dana proclaims that babies are even cuter when they are wearing diamonds.

"It's a Great Audiobook to Make Love to"

The girls wrap up the riveting story of pirates and captives with the final installment of "The Power Trip" by Jackie Collins. Both girls go to separate, amazing concerts and realize that you can flip people off AND show them a beautiful ring at the same time.

Jennifer continues the story of the high seas with this week's installment of "The Power Trip" by Jackie Collins. There is talk of a taxidermied squirrel nativity scene, a mafia climate change conference, and what one would wear when heading to a yacht to pirate and kidnap.

Jennifer continues the tale of a boating adventure in this gripping episode of Jackie Collins' The Power Trip.  The girls are on cold medicine so they are punch drunk, much like the characters in this book. They discuss what supplies pirates need from Party City and Amazon in order to capture a boat and learn their pirate names.

"The Last of the Sex Swings"

The guests are on the yacht and we have our first excursion in today's installment of The Power Trip! Dana recounts how her house used to be a swingers' sex house that was covered in sex murals, and Jen accidentally shows a cable guy some porn on her laptop.

"He Had a Sexual Hangover"

The wacky guests and crew set sail on the latest installment of The Power Trip. Jen regales us with a story about a man who pays his (sterile... oops!) neighbor to sleep with his wife and impregnate her, and Dana points out the distinction between the wealthy Walmart Waltons and the pioneer TV Waltons. Both girls agree that neither of them has the desire to join the Mile High Club.

"She was a Spider Monkey in Bed"

Jennifer wraps up Book One of The Power Trip and goes over "yacht etiquette." Jen wants to know what to do when a repair guy tells you he's going to "hit that hoe" and the girls decide that This Old House needs to come do some things to Jen's old house. Dana reads Vladimir Putin's Wikipedia page and notices that he has had several different eras with his face (the puffy period, the Mr. Burns period, etc.) and she also announces that she would like to get a doctorate in cheese.

"Would You Rather: Boat Edition"

On this episode of The Power Trip recap, Jennifer takes listeners through the backgrounds of the characters who will be together on the yacht, and the girls decide that they all could use a lot of therapy.

Jen's lights flicker when she turns on her washing machine (electrical problem or poltergeist? you decide...), and the girls figure out that they would react in opposite ways if they found themselves in a hostage situation. After a short deliberation, Jen and Dana decide that Benjamin Button isn't Brad Pitt's hottest movie after all.

"The Season Sex Soft Swap" 

Set sail with Scandalous Diamonds as Jennifer dives into The Power Trip by Jackie Collins! The girls discuss the Loofah Code for identifying fellow elderly swingers and wonder what voyeurs do with their hands while watching other people do things.

"He Got The Concrete Slippers"

Jennifer gets us through the 1960s with the latest installment of Jackie Collins' "Chances," and the girls ask the age old question, "Is that a gun under your pillow or are you just happy to see me?"

Jen apologizes to the entire country of France before the girls start getting French hate mail full of French cuss words. Jen brings back her award-winning Gino Santangelo impersonation and goes to Maryland, while Dana coughs a lot (damn allergies). 

"Once More for the Toxic Masculinity in the Back!"

Jennifer starts Book 2 of 'Chances' by Jackie Collins, and sets the stage for Lucky Santangelo and Steven Berkley's formative years. Tragedy strikes (twice!) and a Greek shipping heiress becomes a central character.

The girls marvel at the dumb people who try to smuggle drugs in the airport and then practice kegel exercises while on the air. 

“This is Like Sleepless in Seattle, but not at all Like Sleepless in Seattle"

Jennifer is still covering the never-ending NYC Blackout in 1977, while also bringing the Gino and Carrie stories up through the 1950s. Murder! Mob hits gone wrong! Kidnapping! New Identities! Casinos!

Jen rolls her eyes at art students who present cardboard from the garbage as their latest masterpiece. Dana is outraged at a historic rich woman's (REAL!) cat costume and proclaims that you have too much money if you show up at a party with a Maine Coon on your head. The girls imagine what it must have been like to be in a mafia staff meeting - did the mob bosses use an overhead projector? Was it a weekly staff meeting? Were there donuts?

"Pinky Banana is in Havana?!"

In this installment of the recap of Jackie Collins' 'Chances,' Jennifer takes us further into Gino and Carrie's lives through the end of WWII. Jen accidentally buys an entire display of Christmas cards, the girls wonder what it was like to visit someone in prison in the 1940s, and friend of the pod, Elle, sends in a slightly scandalous Amish picture that inspires her to coin the name "Bon'erotica Movement."

"Gino Was a Wholesome Gangster"

In this week's installment of Jackie Collins' "Chances," Jennifer covers the day after the NYC Blackout in 1977 and more of Carrie and Gino's history from 1928-1937. Jen remembers her childhood perms and Dana expresses her deep love for the mob.

The girls review the ten strangest world records. This leads them to decide to attempt to beat the current world record for most underpants put on in thirty seconds.

Jennifer and Dana cover Chapters 65-70 of Hollywood Wives in a breathtaking conclusion to Book One. It is decided that Greeks are the coolest and Michiganders are experts in rain boot fashion. Dana announces her retirement plan of being an armchair detective and Jen announces that the 90's are back, baby!
